The Crafted Vancouver FASHION RUNWAY AND RETAIL EVENT is a celebration of fashion art and craft taking place at VanDusen Botanical Garden on Friday, May 14, 2021. Curated by Katelyn Woodburn of Street and Saddle and fashion merchandizer Shane Yu, local and international designers are showcased in a runway show in a beautiful botanical setting. Each collection brings a diverse range of artistic voices, with a mix of emerging and established designers.

Afterwards, we invite show attendees to enjoy a shopping experience of apparel, accessories and jewellery curated by Shane Yu.

FASHION SHOW
On the evening of Friday, May 14th your collection will be set to walk the runway.
We are calling all designers who design and manufacture a majority of their collection in the Lower Mainland area.
There will be an après show at the venue for an opportunity to showcase an outfit and speak with press, network and connect with prospective clients. Your participation fee of $225 includes;
HMUA, promotion, photography, venue, subsequent publications and retail.

* We will showcase up to 12 designers, each with a collection of 5-8 looks

RETAIL EVENT
Included in the runway experience is a retail pop-up that will provide opportunity for your haute couture and ready-to-wear garments to be purchased by the general public on the 14th and 15th. We will merchandise collections together and build themes in order to create a unique boutique experience for the attendees. Spaces will be available for makers who do not wish to participate in the runway at a cost of $50 (spots are limited). All sales of items in the retail space will go directly to the designer
(total commission).
