eye-catching polish to any space.
Their commitment to excellence is reflected in the high quality of everything they put out into the
world as well as through their positive community and employee relationships, and their efforts to
minimize their environmental impact wherever possible.

Studying and working with glass has allowed me to work in glass studios up and down the west coast of North America. However, the initial spark behind my lifelong journey with glass came over 12 years ago, while I was earning my degree in Business Information Systems at California State University Chico. After graduating I enrolled at Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina, followed by a 5 year apprenticeship in California.
Originally from California’s central valley, In 2017 I moved to Vancouver, BC and launched Dougherty Glassworks. I run my business out of the Terminal City Glass Co-op in East Vancouver, where I am also the Studio Manager.
Along with my own artistic development, I am passionate about the growth of the glass blowing community. I enjoy training new apprentices and seeing a love for glass in others.
