Join us at the Roy Barnett Recital Hall to celebrate 75 years of international friendship at this pre-festival kick off concert.

Featuring the works of Mexican and Canadian composers and performers Chroma Cuartet (Ilya Ivanov, Carlos Quijano, Felix Alanis, and Manuel Cruz) and guitar duo Alec Pearson and Luis Angel Medina.

A Spotlight on Mexico Event

Each year Crafted Vancouver hosts “Spotlight On…” a Signature Event featuring a series of workshops, talks and cultural events highlighting contemporary and traditional crafts from a different part of the world each year. This year we are thrilled to invite a select group of skilled craftspeople from Mexico to participate in a unique exchange of culture and tradition with craft taking centre stage.
