The Oh! For Craft’s Sake team talk to Crafted Vancouver!
Oh! For Craft’s Sake is a newly developed monthly podcast project hosted by the Craft Council of British Columbia, as part of an institutional effort to have more conversations about contemporary craft as well as to highlight and promote work being done by craft artists and organizations in BC.
Conceived and recorded on the traditional and ancestral lands of the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh and Musqueam Nations, the intentions of this project is to extend beyond the institution and into the community. Inviting diverse guests to speak to a range of topics relating to craft we hope to build stronger and more equitable relations with a host of invited guests and within the province.
We hope to bring awareness to issues relating to craft and to help solidify craft as valued and valid practice within the visual arts..
