The spoon series presented in An Unexpected Collection are photographs printed with a 19th Century technique called Tri-Colour Bichromate Gum over Palladium. COVID-19 is now part of our history and it was important to me for these images to be around in 500+ years.

La Fabrique St. George is located in the heart of Vancouver at 7 E 7th Ave and is the passion project of Pascal Roy. With her mother Patricia Larsen acting as lead designer, the artist Janaki Larsen worked closely with them, from designing the bottle labels, to making the plateware and conceptualizing a wheelchair ramp into a sculptural piece. Thoughtfully designed, the space is warm, inviting and stands as a work of art on its own.
