Join your host for a 45 minute tour of the Catherine Regehr working Atelier. Here is an exclusive opportunity to meet and view the work of the cutting, sewing, pattern maker and hand sewing team members in this working Atelier.
Catherine Regehr was raised in the Yukon Territory. After studying Fine Arts for four years she left Canada to study in Paris at L’Écoles de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. She worked as a designer in New York before returning to Vancouver where she currently designs and exports her collections internationally.
Catherine’s philosophy lies in combining unusual texture and luxurious fabrications together with modern sensibility of clean and timeless shapes. All the pieces in the collection are hand made by artisans in Canada. Many of the textures take a great number of hours and sometimes days to create, making each piece an original work of craftsmanship and quality.
Her home collection is inspired by the textures and repetitive forms often found in the nature of Canada’s North where she spends each summer. This is reflected in the signature style and individuality of each piece.
