Brick, Stone, Terra Cotta and a Dragon or Two: Downtown Architecture Tour
Explore the skill and craft that went into the architecture of some of the city’s heritage buildings. From brick to stone and terra cotta, you’ll look at some of the materials used and along the way find a hidden war memorial, fossils embedded in limestone and a menagerie of beasts hiding in plain sight, including serpents curled up under balconies. And lots of lions too. Tour begins at the Vancouver Art Gallery plaza.
