Event Details
Observers are invited to pull up a chair and join up to 10 tables during the day. Each table will host a master craft maker trading skills, knowledge and creative wisdom. Select tables may offer a chance to try hand working with a broad range of materials. Here is an opportunity to rendezvous and ask questions, learn, network and come away feeling inspired. This is an up-close, intimate experience with the opportunity to witness the skill and dedication that goes into each artisan’s unique work.
Participants are encouraged to visit several tables over the course of each session. Individual makers may offer a selection of their work for sale.
New this year
The Vancouver Metal Arts Association, with the support of the Craft Council of BC will be hosting a POP-UP exhibition: Pin & Post as part of Crafted Vancouver’s Meet the Makers Event at Heritage Hall.
This group exhibition from 22 VMAA members will present a selection of Brooches & Earrings in a gallery display and members will be on hand throughout the 4 days to conduct demonstrations. See Pin & Post for further details on this exhibition.
