Describe Your Artistic Practice
I am a writer, maker and designer. I’m the author of three books on craft and culture: Yarn Bombing: The Art of Crochet and Knit Graffiti (co-authored with Mandy Moore); Hoopla: The Art of Expected Embroidery; and Strange Material: Storytelling Through Textiles. I’m currently at work on a new book about community-based creative projects.
