Describe Your Artistic Practice

I studied Engineering in France and worked as a project manager for construction and retail for almost 10 years before taking a sabbatical and coming to BC. In 2016, I started my apprenticeship in cabinetmaking at the renowned Inside Passage School of Fine Cabinetmaking. I continue to promote the work of artisans, especially fine cabinetmakers.

What Do You Do at Crafted Vancouver?

I am learning a lot about the craft scene in Vancouver! I represent woodworking on the CAT. I am also the administrative support manager for Crafted Vancouver and I created the Crafted Vancouver on-line Library  including a collection of more than 200 books related to craft. A very inspiring project.

Best live performance I've seen:

Recently, Circus Arlette Grussin France, with my Mum and my niece. A wonderful performance with extremely generous, passionate and professional artists ...The beauty of the show made me cry.

My favourite beach:

Cap Blanc-Nez and Cap Gris-Nez, North of France... Long and wide beaches with a lot of wind & Edmond's Beach, Roberts Creek

My motto is:

Small steps.
