Describe Your Artistic Practice
Utilizing my training in blacksmithing, welding, and fabrication, I craft functional and sculptural pieces that balance contemporary design with the fluidity of the handmade.

Inspired by:
The Yukon. I’m not tough enough to live in that climate, but doing seasonal work up there was a formative experience. One of the few truly wild places left on the planet. And Lee Bontecou, a phenomenal sculptor, and something of an art world recluse.
Guilty pleasure:
Shower beers.

My favourite hikes have been in remote areas, no trails, no signs, no names.
