What Do You Do at Crafted Vancouver?

I am the Festival Manager and Volunteer Coordinator and execute any panache or odd bits needed to ensure a smooth on-the-ground experience for guests and artists.

My background:

My foundation is in community organizing, youth development and civic engagement in Los Angeles. Since relocating to Vancouver, I have pivoted into non-profit and fundraising event management.  For the past 2 years I have coordinated the auction and fundraising activities at the JCC Sports Dinner, one of Vancouver’s largest and most successful galas in addition to supporting Crafted Vancouver and various city events.

When I travel I always...

plan an extensive itinerary with a million things to explore, experience, and investigate and have the time of my life. I plan most vacations around places I want to hike at. My family and partner refuse to vacation with me as they just want to be beach bums and are too boring for words.

I couldn't live without:

Mid-century service ware (vases, platters, chip bowls); fun and fine coffee cups--right now I’m living for the Disney villains mug series (don’t judge me); anything with polka dots; sci fi movies; British period piece novels or films; mountain escapes

Inspired by:

RuPaul, Cher, Frieda Kahlo, AOC, Michelle Obama, The Hulk.

Pet Peeves:

People who don’t recycle. Excessive amount of white, male narratives portrayed in media. When I run out of aged gouda. Slow walkers.
