Crafted Vancouver will host a number of Special Projects taking place May 2021

Citizens of Craft Live Podcast

BMO Great Hall – VanDusen Botanical Garden
Thursday, May 13

The Canadian Crafts Federation will host a live recording of their popular Citizens of Craft Podcast, featuring two British Columbia based craft artists in a casual, in-depth conversation about the role of craft in their lives, in society at large, and for the good of the world. Listeners are welcome to attend the live recording, which will have the feel of an informal panel discussion, with time for questions from the audience.

Hosted by Maegen Black, Director of the Canadian Crafts Federation, the Citizens of Craft Podcast is a series that brings together the voices of craft artists, curators, educators and collectors who speak off the cuff about craft practice. In every episode, they explore the objects we love, the reasons we love them, and the people who bring them to life. Listen to all the episodes online at, and then join in on the live recording during Crafted Vancouver.

May 1-25 2021 throughout Metro Vancouver

The CRAFT IS EVERYWHERE! window installation programme is a new initiative for Crafted Vancouver 2021. Pairing craft-based work and installations within interesting and often unexpected window space locations throughout Metro Vancouver, we engage with the public on a larger scale, inviting closer inspection and appreciation of work at eye-level and around the clock.

Store owners participate by allowing their storefront windows to be designed by an artist, creating a walkable outdoor ‘gallery’.
Invited artists will be carefully curated and matched up with appropriate windows.

Craft Is Everywhere locations are listed under the Events section of and are featured in the festival Programme Guidebook.

Please check back. The complete 2021 festival program is viewable online March 2021.
